Molecule 01 is composed of 100% Iso E Super, pure and unique. It combines with its own smell (it almost caramelizes) to create a personal olfactory signature.

Molecule 01 is said to cause animal magnetism, a latter-day love potion. Geza used the beautifully mysterious and democratic aromatic molecule Iso E Super as the star of this juice. She felt it expressed everything a perfumer could want: radiance, tenacity and power.

"Iso E Super is one of those scents that makes you want to snuggle into it. It's comforting and enveloping," says Geza Schoen.

Molecule 01 has a marked intermittency. To the user, it appears to disappear and then reappear. This is due to the way it sits with receptors in the olfactory system, releasing only slowly to facilitate a new loading of the molecule onto the receptors.

Iso E Super does not exist in nature and was created in an IFF laboratory in 1973.

Molecule 01 is for the individual who might be a little bored of fragrance and would prefer to radiate an aura. It is difficult to call a single chemical aroma a fragrance; it's much more personal," Geza says.

Molecule 01 is a cult classic today that remains as disruptive and avant-garde as the day it was first bottled.
